Russian Ambassador Shot Dead By Turkish Policeman In A Revenge Move!

In a move that has been termed to be a “terrorist act”, the Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov has died of gun shot wounds after a Turkish policeman crying “Aleppo” and “revenge” shot him today in Turkey at an art exhibition in Ankara.

The unfortunate incident occurred on the eve of a key meeting between the Russian, Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers on the Syria conflict.

In a television footage trending online at the moment, a man in a dark suit and tie was waving a gun and gesturing in the air at the Ankara exhibition hall.
The man who has been identified as a Turkish Policeman shot the Ambassador at close range before shouting the words Aleppo and revenge.

Andrei Karlov was reportedly rushed to the emergency unit where he later died of his wounds.

The shooting took place at the Cagdas Sanatlar Merkezi, a major art exhibition hall in the Cankaya district of Ankara where most foreign embassies are located including Russia’s mission.
