How Fayose Foiled The Attempt To Arrest Controversial Man of God Apostle Suleman

Controversial Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose early this morning stopped some operatives of the Department of States Services (DSS) from taking Apostle Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries World wide into custody.

Apostle Johnson Suleman became a target of the security officials after he preached on his pulpit at one of his churches in Auchi Edo state asking his members to resist the Islamization of Nigeria by killing any Fulani herdsman they come across.
The sermon ignited a lot of confusion and was termed unlawful making the DSS trail the man of God to Ado Ekiti where he was having a two-day crusade.
Co incidentally, the governor of Ekiti Ayodele Fayose was also at the crusade where the Apostle was ministering. Apostle Suleman was reportedly trailed after paying a courtesy visit to the governor and was returning to his hotel.
Consequently, on sensing danger, the man of God reportedly called on Fayose who personally led a rescue mission to prevent Suleman from being taken into custody.
Apostle Suleman has however stated while narrating the incidence that if he spends a day in detention, Nigeria will suffer as it would take a year to fix the damage that would be done by his half a million followers.
He maintains that Fulani herdsmen have turned many to orphans and it is time to protect ourselves from them.
Meanwhile, Governor Fayose thinks that if the security officials have any issues with the man of God, they should invite him and not try to arrest him in the dead of the night.
